YOU WILL NEED:
Lacquered fabric (P&E); lining fabric and volumenfliz 272 THERMOLAM - flaps 50 x 40 cm; 1 detachable zipper 35 cm long; threads for sewing.

CUT TO:
From lacquer fabric, lining fabric and volumenfliz gasket, cut a part of the clutch with a length of 50 cm and a width of 38 cm, including allowances.

DESCRIPTION OF WORK:
Fold the part from volumenfliz with the wrong side of the varnished fabric part. Stitch all sections along the perimeter to the edge. Then process the machined parts as single-layer. Open the zipper. Place the zipper braids on the front side of the lacquered fabric part along short sections so that the teeth begin 1.5 cm from the sections. Tape the upper ends of the braid. To sew the zipper braid by laying a stitch at a distance of 5 mm from the cloves (photo 1 on the left), while using the foot of the sewing machine to sew the zipper.

Fold the part from the lining fabric over the zipper braid with the lacquered part to the front, chop off the short sections and sew it, laying the lines exactly along the sewing lines of the zipper (photo 2 on the right).

Unscrew the seam allowances on the lacquered fabric, the zipper teeth are on the lining.Fold lacquered fabric and lining fabric parts in the middle with the front side inwards. Stitch the side sections to a width of 1 cm, leaving a 10 cm long section open for lining on the lining in the seam (photo 3 bottom left).

Turn the clutch through an open area in the seam of the lining (photo 4 at the top right). Sew the open area in the seam, put the lining in the clutch, close the zipper.
