To do this, quite a bit is needed. The house should be comfortable, warm, proportionate and have the “improvised” of everything you need.
The word "comfort" interesting fate. Its first meaning is a roof, shelter: a place where you can hide from the weather, relax after a difficult journey. Comfort is good, warmth, relaxation. The task of the roof in ancient peasant Russia was worldly: to cover the stove in order to survive the winter. The one who sheltered, and really huddled, exacerbating the cramped densely populated hut. But no one was offended by this. We still say: in cramped conditions, but not in insult. Over time, everything became pleasantly warm (like a stove): a bathrobe, plaid, sweater; everything is sweet, naive, pleasing to the eye and soul: flowers on window sills, embroidered pillows.
The principles of arranging a harmonious and comfortable modern home today have been developed for us by designers.
EXPERIMENTAL PRINCIPLE
The interior requires room for imagination and experimentation with textures, colors and shapes. For example, a fashionable trend is to place the symbols of cosiness of past years in the interior: old embroideries or fragments of grandmother's lace, taken in a baguette, a lamp with a lampshade, an old tapestry with swans in a modern laconic frame.
PRINCIPLE OF MOOD
Correctly chosen color will help to "raise" or "lower" the ceiling, to expand or narrow the space. Give preference to calm colors that give rise to positive emotions. Cold tones calm, relieve tension.Warm - create a feeling of comfort, harmony. Natural colors, natural fabrics, wood are always good in the interior. Metal, plastic, plenty of glass will make the house cold. In addition to traditional colors, there are exquisite colors: antique gold, hunting green, order blue, patrician purple. They are suitable for fragments of the interior that you want to highlight. It is worthwhile to be careful about the fashionable avant-garde interior solution in the same tone: for example, when the whole apartment is painted in different shades of green. This option is very effective, but requires special knowledge and good taste.
PRINCIPLE OF INDEPENDENT OBJECTS
A podium decorated as an oriental-style relaxation area, a reading corner with a floor lamp and a bookshelf, a green area with a fountain or an aquarium - these so-called independent objects, undoubtedly add coziness.
LINE OF MOTION PRINCIPLE
It consists in careful planning even at the stage of the project of ways of moving around the house of its inhabitants. The arrangement of furniture will largely depend on these convenient and logical lines of movement.
PRINCIPLE OF ACCENTS
Proper placement of bright accents throughout the house very animates the interior. Anything can be an accent: a picture, a colorful handmade rug, a niche with a replica of ancient sculpture, a floor vase, an intensely painted fragment of a wall, etc. A very advantageous accent technique for creating an interior is light directing. This matter needs a serious approach. The type of room lighting, lighting and special effects created by highlights and shadows are thoughtfully and delicately selected.Sometimes it’s enough to change the location of the lamps so that the character, mood, and proportions of the rooms change beyond recognition.
PRINCIPLE OF ZERO
It implies the obligatory presence in the interior of “empty places” so that the house does not seem cluttered. Zero as an independent philosophical value should be present in every interior. These "zero spaces" should be laid before the apartment is furnished. There should always be an opportunity to freely rearrange something in the interior.
PRINCIPLE OF THE POINT
Sometimes it is not easy to come up with exactly how to start home improvement. Designers advise finding a certain point in the apartment - a corner where, for example, your favorite chair will stand. The view from this conditional point on other components of the interior (bookcase, picture, mirror, TV screen) will be considered decisive when arranging furniture.
PRINCIPLE OF INDEPENDENT VOLUME
This is the conceptual "spatial core". It is convenient if the room is divided by partitions, shelves, screens, using arches, columns and niches in such a way that even if you remove furniture from these small spaces, they will still maintain harmony, individuality and will be cozy.
