Sometimes it’s nice to have a whole family of dachshunds, especially since we are talking about such charming representatives of the Dakkel surname as dad David and mother Danuta, and about their lovely babies Dick, Drika and Draka.
Of course, the visit of such a large family could cause a lot of trouble, but this does not apply to the Dakkel family: they are calm, friendly, cute and always stay where they are planted. And if you have to move them, they will not object ... How to start such a wonderful family, we will tell you step by step. You will need: thick fabric (for example, a felted loden), a knitted fabric with a fleecy wrong side or fleece, scissors, a magic marker, cotton wool for filling, sewing threads, embroidery threads, a piece of satin ribbon, paper pattern.
STEP 1
Fold the fabric in half with the front side toward the front side. Pin the details of the paper pattern. Around each part of the pattern, draw an allowance 1 cm wide, then cut the details from the fabric.
STEP 2
Fold the details of the body and the details of the ears with the front sides and grind, leaving in each seam a small area for turning out. Cut the seam allowances close to the stitches, on the corners cut them close to the seam line, cut small triangles in the rounding sections.
STEP 3
Turn out the details, fill the body with cotton. Then sew the open area in the seam manually with small stitches. Also sew an open area in the seam on the ears.
STEP 4
Pin the ears to the head in the middle and sew in small stitches by hand.
STEP 5
Embroider the eyes with threading, making a couple of stitches crosswise, tie a satin ribbon around the neck.
SEWING INSTRUCTIONS
Attention: details of patterns 6, 7 and 8 in full size are given on a sheet of patterns in a special issue Burda Creative. You can also copy and proportionally enlarge the details below.
Description of work: for each figure, cut out the details of the paper pattern for the trunk and ears. The desired flap of tissue is folded in half with the front side inward. Then, on the double-folded flap, apply the details of the pattern, circle the contours with a "magic" marker. Cut out the ears twice with a fold (= dashed line) and circle with a marker. Cut out all the details with allowances for 1.5 cm wide seams. Fold the body parts with the front sides and grind with 1.5 cm seam allowance. In the seam on the abdomen, leave a small area open for inversion and filling with cotton. Cut the seam allowances close to the stitching, cut at the corners close to the seam line, cut small triangles in the rounding sections. Turn the body, straighten the seams and fill with cotton. Sew the open area in the seam manually. Fold both parts of each eyelet with their front sides and grind them like body parts. To turn out ears, to sew up open sites in seams. Sew ears to the head in the middle (see photo).Embroider eyes with embroidery threads in the form of crosses. Tie a satin ribbon like a leash.
