Have you met your true love? Then you just need a big - big heart to say to your chosen one: "How I love you!"
Made with love: this velvet heart without any words will itself tell you about tender feelings for your chosen one. All you need to make it is velvet, thread for embroidery and fantasy, which lovers always have in abundance.Attention: The motive "Heart" under the model number 11 in full size is given on the sheet of patterns of the special issue Burda Creative. You can also copy and enlarge the motif below to your size.
You will need: gray cotton velvet 0.40 m wide 140 cm; zolujliz flap approx. 40 x 40 cm (Freudenberg); hoop; sharp-pointed embroidery needle (Prym); embroidery threads (Anchor) of the following colors: yellow, peach, pink, bright pink, light blue, mint, blue - green, aqua and turquoise; silver thin yarn for crocheting; 1 m bright pink braid with pompons; 1 m of pink decorative braid; scissors; soft pencil; suitable threads for sewing (Coats); cotton wool for filling.
Description of work: cut the motive "Heart" along the outer contour. Put a zolufliz on the motif in the middle and trace the contours of the anchor and flower garlands with a soft pencil.
Cut a piece measuring 40 x 40 cm from velvet. Place the Zolufliz on the velvet part (on the fleecy side). Hoop both parts. Embroider as described below in the step-by-step instructions and dissolve zolufliz in water.
After drying, the “Heart” motif is again applied to velvet and cut along the contour with a 1 cm wide seam allowance. Then embroider the words and a small heart with thread with lurex. Cut a second heart for the back of the pillow. Fold both parts with the front sides and sew with an allowance of 1 cm wide on the seam, leaving a small area open for sewing and filling with cotton wool in the seam. In the rounding sections, allowances are cut in a zigzag pattern.
To turn out a pillow, to fill with cotton wool. Sew the open area in the seam manually. On the front side of the pillow along the outer contour, manually sew the braid with pompoms, then decorative braid.
Step 1
Put the zoluflize on velvet, hoop both parts, draw the “Anchor” motif.
Step 2
Embroider the motif with silver yarn, sticking the needle into both layers.
Step 3
Decorate the anchor with curly flowers embroidered with bright threads.
Step 4
At the end of the work, immerse the embroidery in a container of water.
Step 5
Zolufliz will dissolve in water, and your embroidery will remain on black velvet.
