Denim Patchwork

Jeans are different for jeans. Thanks to appliqués made of different color jeans, they can be turned into a stylish and original designer piece.

Re-sewn
The collar, cuffs and other details of this shirt are an extra-class youth fashion!

You will need: a denim shirt, rags of various denim fabrics, old denim items, thread for sewing.
How to do: to separate the collar with the stand from the old denim shirt. Lay the collar under the collar of a stylized denim shirt, pin and stitch the stand along the bottom edge and in the middle.
Cut off the left sleeve as shown in the photo (at a distance of approx. 30 cm to the bottom edge). Similarly, cut off part of the left sleeve from the old shirt, but add 2 cm of seam allowances. Stitch part of the sleeve on the shirt, seam width 1 cm.
Unfasten the right cuff from the old denim jacket. Insert the right cuff of the stylized shirt into the upper edge of the torn cuff and pin it, stitch the upper edge of the cuff into the edge. Unscrew the cuff.
From the denim flap, cut out 2 oval armrests, size. OK. 10 x 15 cm. When trying on armrests, pin on the sleeves of the shirt, sew up at a distance of 1 cm or sew by hand.
Cut 3 rectangles of different sizes. Wrap the slices on the wrong side, 1 cm wide, and iron.Paste the rectangles inside out onto the shelves of the shirt, cut the lower edges according to the shape of the lower edge of the styled shirt and iron again. Rectangles stitch to the edge.
Cut out an additional chest pocket size. approx. 14 x 16 cm. Press the 1-cm-wide sections to the wrong side, stitch the top edge of the pocket at a distance of 7 mm. Poke a pocket on the left shelf and sew to the edge.
Lining
Two layers of wear will not be!

You will need: jeans, the remains of various denim fabrics, threads for sewing.
How to make: 2 jeans with a length of approx. 45 cm, 20 cm long for front pockets on trousers. Place the rectangles inside out on the face on the front halves of the trousers, wrap the lower and front sections inward 1 cm wide and stitch the rest of the sections along the seam of the sewing belt and at the entrances to the pockets, as well as at the side seams, tuck and stitch, sew the edges manually with stitch stitches, stitch size approx. 1 x 1 cm.
Measure the width of the bottom edge of the leg. Cut 2 slats 13 cm wide and the corresponding length + 2 cm of allowances for the seams. Strap into the rings. Iron the upper sections inward to a width of 1 cm. Puncture the planks on the lower edges of the trousers, sew the upper edges with lancet stitches.
Denim for publication
From several old large trousers, you can sew a chic little Empire-style handbag!

You will need: Denim 4 different shades, 3 rags size. 25 x 25 cm and 1 flap size. 25 x 50 cm. Lining fabric size. 50 x 65 cm. Strip of skin size. 10 x 60 cm. 8 blocks internal diam. 11 mmSewing threads and light blue thread for buttonhole, pins, needles, scissors, hammer, stationery clips, tissue paper.

How to stitch:
Copy the motif, enlarging to the desired size. Fold in half a tissue paper, fold a fold on the dashed line of the motif. Detail cut and unwrap. Cut 8 parts of the handbag from the top and 8 parts from the lining fabric. Additionally cut a circle diam. 21 cm for the bottom of denim and lining. Parts contain 1 cm of seam allowances.
From the skin, cut a strip 2 cm wide: 1 strip 59 cm long for the upper edge and 4 strips 50 cm long for the drawstring. For the tongue, cut out a rectangle of size. 4 x 8 cm.
Step 1
Stack details, iron. Pin a circle, stitch. Stitching lining parts in the same way.



Step 2
Put the lining in the handbag, fix the leather tape with paper clips. Stitch up. Punch blocks in the middle.

Step 3
Sew along the seams manually with “forward needle” stitches with thread for sewing loops.
Stitch a strip of leather for the drawstring into two parts of the same length, fold it to a width of 1 cm, stitch the edges to the edge.
Pass each tape through 4 blocks. The two adjacent ends are knotted.
Fold the rectangle for the tongue face to face, grind sections 4 cm long (seam width 1 cm). To lay out allowances and to stick. Release tongue. Pull the tab on the open end of the tape. The tongue seam lies in the middle, sew in the seam between the ribbons, tie the ends of the ribbon with a knot.
