In this master class I want to show, and most importantly explain the painting of the back of the jacket, of course with the result of creation.
I do not pretend to be unique, so as not to offend the true masters of this matter.
universal acrylic paints or for leather (see the annotation of paints),
alcohol (for degreasing the surface),
brushes of different stripes, as during the work, choose the most convenient,
roller on foam rubber,
a cotton pad or any piece of cloth,
the surface itself, I have a ready-made cut back (sewn in the middle),
the image of what you want to draw, I took as a basis a napkin for decoupage from the Internet
rubber gloves (I always work in them),
cloth for drying brushes (removing excess water).
Work process:
1. Degrease the surface for better adhesion to the paint.
2. Take a certain amount of paint to create the background.
3. With a roller we drive well over these paints in order to evenly distribute the paint.
4. Apply the background, coat well, but not with a thick layer, this is important, because paint
after drying it may crack.
5. The paint is quick-drying, so you can immediately do it literally in 1-2 minutes
a sketch of a drawing with a simple pencil, without pressure, a light sketch.
It is very difficult to photograph this sketch, it is almost not visible.
6.Next, we take paints again in order to convey various color combinations and
mix them in the process of painting. I took a brush and scored 3 types of paint, then
You can add paint to the color of the effect you want.
Do not forget to wash the brush and dry it on a cloth during operation.
7. And now the main process is the painting itself.
Mom's head is more or less ready.
And this is the head of the giraffe in the process.
Now add some decorative elements.
And this is the finished back.
After painting, dry for 1 day, then cover with acrylic matte varnish. I have opaque paints, but I still covered it, because when painting, the paint has a gloss that highlights this painting itself, and when you varnish, the surface takes on a single whole and gives plasticity, as if it were already on the skin.
And this is the result of what happened at the end.
To this jacket, I also sewed a purse, only made painting with acrylic paints
another manufacturer.
I hope my experience helps someone. Criticism is accepted :).
If I missed something, then I will be happy to answer questions.
I wish you every success!
